"This was a revelation for me" !

Who among us, following a meeting, an event, a lecture, has not wondered that to himself?

We suddenly perceive differently in a new light, life and men.....

The Transfiguration that the Church celebrated on August 6, reveals to us to the light of the Holy Spirit a marvellous news, that of a new life glittering beyond death. Jesus transfigured reveals in advance, the resurrected Christ. He reveals in his body the light of which will shine the body of the Church. This celebration is a marvellous news that makes us the adopted children of God. It is for us also an invitation to listen to Jesus and to prepare our hearts to overcome the scandal of the Cross: " This is my beloved son, hear ye him" MC,9 7

Dear brothers and sisters,

The call of the month of August invites us to:

- Celebrate the Eucharist to the intention of an Italian priest, Don Adriano, suffering from a serious illness, asking for the intercession of Abouna Simon. On his behalf, we implore the kindness of the Lord.

- To make of our hearts the Holy mountain where the Lord will like to transfigure us to the image of Jesus and to say like Peter with joy :

"It is good to be here". What is more beautiful than to be within th Glory of the Lord? Lord, may the light of your transfigured face purify our hearts.
