During
this month of January, the first month of the
year, we are all called to serve humanity, in
providing our help and our testimony.
The earth of men is suffering.
we cannot remain indifferent,
thus the necessity and the extreme urgency of
a renewal in the moulding of mentalities.
The real remedy is to instill within our families
feelings of peace.
We all have to change our hearts and to open our
eyes on the world.
It is within the family that starts the way to
the Other,
Jesus who comes to us in the others.
The family is the place where the first smile
is drawn.
The family is the place where we pronounce and
hear the first word.
This word that will become, with the help of others,
a language.
A language that can change the world:
A language that can destroy as well as warm and
render happy.
A language of hatred that will lead to a certain
war
and a language of love that contributes in depth
to the work of God.
While speaking, Christ performed His mission.
He is the living Word of the Lord.
Dear brothers and sisters,
Let’s take the time to listen to each
others.
Lets’ take the time to pray within our
families.
Let’s take the time to grow together in
a climate of peace, respect, joy and love...
The call of the month invites us to :
Celebrate the Eucharist within
our families in the intention of peace in the
world.
Do and live a gesture of peace: Who among us
can, in one single hour, refrain from saying
or thinking bad of someone else?...The damages
we cause are often irreparable. To praise is
a creating act, an act of peace.
Let
us give way to the Word of God to be engraved
in our souls and in our hearts.
Let it be the foundation and the guide of our
family and social behaviour.
