Dear friends,
During this month of July, the activities of
lots of us reduce their pace to the summer rhythm.
We might want to do new things or on the contrary,
take some time to rest and do nothing.
Jesus is conscious of our everyday tiredness
and invites us to:
"Come away by yourselves to a lonely place,
and rest a while" MC 6,31
The rest to which Jesus invites us is not still.
On the contrary it is made of closeness with
Him. It is made of listening. But in order to
listen to Jesus we have to be silent.
"Silence edifies
me because it allows me to come back to myself,
it allows me to compare between the objectives
that I set for my life on one hand and the reality
that I live on the other in order to rectify
what must be rectified. This silence edifies
because it allows me to be attentive to the
word that the Lord makes me hear on the circumstances
of my life. It shows me the road of straightening
and in which way to take it to prohibit me from
forgetting the essential objectives or to be
content with a first victory or be resigned
after the first defeat."

iradata Rabbi"
Let us seize this month of July to discover
the profound call of the Lord. Let us take time
to do nothing but to let the Lord work in us
in a prolonged prayer and a renewed attention
to the sacrament of the Eucharist.
Brothers and sisters,
The call of the month of July invites us to:
- Celebrate the Eucharist while praying the
Holy Spirit to initiate in us our true mission
toward our brothers.
- Take time to read, meditate and be nourished
by some passages of the Gospel because our faith
needs to be strengthened by the words of the
Lord. If the Lord talks to us through the events
of our everyday life, He also talks to us through
the explicit declarations of Love that he addresses
us in the Gospel.
Enjoy your holidays and good luck for those
who still work.
